      Hi!

I am running a simulation in Cycle-Tempo where part of the helium gas is cooled by a main helium-helium heat exchanger and another part of that helium gas passes through a liquid nitrogen heat exchanger. I would like to know if there is a way to simulate this process so that I can control the flow of liquid nitrogen so that at one time there is a flow of nitrogen and at another time there is no flow of nitrogen.

      Best regards!

      Dear Henrique,

I am not entirely sure what you mean, but you could enter a very small DELM for sink/source 9 (or 10) in case you do not want a nitrogen flow (you probably cannot make it entirely 0). Or, if you would like to have calculated the mass flow nitrogen by Cycle-Tempo, you could somehow make the DELT2 = 0 for the heat exchangers (or any specific value you require) to control the mass flow.

      Best regards!

      Hi!

Thanks so much! I used DELT2 = 0, DELT1 = 0 and DELM = 0,01. I used AIR (GAX MIXTURE), to indicate that I didn’t have liquid nitrogen, just air in the tube.

      Best regards,

      Henrique
